About Roleplay in Nadira
Norman's books on Gor contained numerous passages stating that there were cities, ports, settlements along the Thassa and other regions of Gor whose names were not mentioned. Therefore the fact that "Nadira" was never specifically mentioned in the books is not an issue, as we play true to the Gorean tradition and customs as portrayed in the author's books. The Thassan coastline along the main continent of Gor is vast. Settlements, trading posts and ports unnamed, were thought by the Author to exist.

The port village of Nadira was first conceived by the players of Mikal Savant and Brant Bane sometime in 2003. We have kept the basic premise and concept of Nadira as true to memory as possible out of respect for the original founders; however we shall be expanding on its concept and storylines as the city progresses. And now, on with our rules of Roleplay.
This is an Adult gamer's roleplaying forum. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to play here. We are not merely a city to roleplay in but also a Gorean Story-teller's group; every player in Nadira is, in essence a Story Teller. Players are encouraged to be creative and to take 'center stage' if you will, in developing and portraying your Gorean character's personalities and strengths and be an active entity in the City.
Nadira follows Gor-Wide standards set for all Castes, and for all dice for the various Castes; as well as Codes for all Castes, Gorean Civil, Military and Merchant Law; and Custom.
No player will be prejudiced here on the basis of Gender, what Gender of character they play, Character Sexual Preference, or which home stone group they had been a part of previously.
You will note when reading over some of Nadira's laws that this city may seem a bit harsh on Free Women. That is because Gor is a Man's World; a Free Woman's place in society was beneath that of Men; and there is nothing printed in our laws that are not Gorean in custom or philosophy.
OOC is an intolerable bane in Gorean Roleplay and will never be permitted to taint this City. If you entertain notions of doing so here, you will not get away with it so we advise that you play elsewhere if this be the case with you.
Nadira does not honor SL's of any type that has a basis in OOC or is OOC-driven.
Nadira will not acknowledge hostile attempts against it that are OOC-driven.
