The Port City of Nadira. Its location embraced within a clandestine cove along the Thassan coast between the Meadowlands and the City of Cardonicus, it is a paradise both lost and found in Gorean Time; like a distant remnant of some forgotten realm that still exists in the waking World. Found and then lost, then found again; its primeval allure and tales of past adventures there led two groups of explorers on their rediscovery and claim of this enchanting place...
Originally founded by Mikal Savant and Brant Bane many en'vars ago, Nadira was first a slaving port governed by a Triad of two slavers and a Magistrate. A Merchant free port, the finest and rarest of slave flesh was bred, trained and sold from this very port; and only to those few who were invited or, possessed the cleverness or luck to stumble upon this place. Long ago the two founders disappeared; and the city after its long recourse of mourning and despair over their lost leaders, closed in upon itself, collapsing like a distant, dying star, its citizens finally scattered throughout all Gor. Nadira became a ghost-town; its very name after such a long time of silence stricken from the Lists of the High Scribes of known settlements and ports; and apparently, forgotten...
..Yet the Thassa forgets nothing; as the port fell into decay its waves still lapped lovingly its shores; and some force, perhaps the Thassa itself, or the Priest-Kings, willed that Nadira should be found again. And so, two pairs of adventurers, both pairs Men who knew not the others, came upon this place and each other; and decided to rebuild it to its former glory and even beyond: Asher Malakai and Kass Victorio, and their comrades Deimos Noire and Torhyn Black.
Today Nadira is and remains, a free Merchant-Governed port; remembering its past while it builds its brighter future under the collective brilliance of four Gorean Men. What tales shall be spun now, from this port of mystery? What tales, indeed..
